Charge Methods for C-Power Li-Polymer Batteries:
The Polymer batteries are recommended to be charged using a Constant Current / Constant Voltage (CC/CV) type dedicated charger. The constant current mode is applied until the battery voltage has reached to 4.2V. Thereafter charging mode is changed to Constant Voltage and the charging current will be tapered off to where charging terminates at 1/20C for maximum capacity.
| (1) Charge Voltage |
The voltage between the charging terminals should be no more than 4.20 V?.05V
| (2) Charge Current |
The reference charge current should be 0.7 CmA. The charge rate greater than 1CmA is not recommended
| (3) Ambient Temperature of the Battery Pack During Charge |
| Charge the Polymer battery within a temperature range of 0℃ to 45℃. |
At a temperature of less than 0℃ or higher than 45℃, the battery may not only fail to be charged sufficiently, but its performance might also deteriorate in various ways.
| (4) Low-Voltage Battery Pack Charge |
| When the voltage per cell is 2.9 V or less, charge using a charge current of 0.1CmA or less. |
